The monthly Roy Morgan Indonesian Consumer Confidence Rating is based on 2,143 face-to-face interviews conducted throughout Indonesia, not just a handful of cities. The survey includes the Top 23 cities, smaller cities and towns as well as many more villages in the rural hinterland, reflecting all of Indonesia. Indonesia Consumer Confidence Current Conditions - values, historical data and charts - was last updated on March of 2020. Consumer Confidence Current Conditions in Indonesia averaged 89.22 from 2001 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 115.80 in September of 2014 and a record low of 52 in January of 2003. The central bank of Indonesia (Bank Indonesia) reported that Indonesian consumers are becoming increasingly optimistic about economic prospects and their personal financial situation this year, evidenced by a 5.1 point rise in Bank Indonesia's Consumer Confidence Index to 112.6 points in January 2016. Consumer confidence index in Indonesia Consumer Survey-Bank Indonesia (CS-BI) is a monthly survey that has been conducted since October 1999 by Bank Indonesia . [6] The survey represents the consumer confidence about the overall economic condition, general price level, household income, and consumption plans three and six months ahead. Consumer Confidence in Indonesia is expected to be 121.90 points by the end of this quarter, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. Looking forward, we estimate Consumer Confidence in Indonesia to stand at 128.00 in 12 months time.
